Hi! I’m Michelle (aka MO), a former agency publicist turned TESOL educator, part-time consultant & no-fee travel curator.

A Marist University (nee College) graduate with a BA in Communication and Business, my work spans fashion, tech startups, financial services, venture capital, hospitality, lifestyle, and social impact sectors across the US, UK, EMEA, APAC and LatAm. I started my public relations career representing outdoor lifestyle brands such as REI Co-Op, Fjallraven, and Obermeyer. After a few years, I pivoted to tech to advise on communication strategies and drive brand awareness for companies such as RealPage, Lippincott and AppZen. I then joined global communications agency, Clarity PR, to manage B2B and B2C tech clients from around the world; from one of North America’s leading beverage companies (Keurig) to an AI-powered luxury product verification company (Entrupy) and event management platform (TripleSeat). During this time, I worked in the New York office for several years before transferring to London in 2020 for a year-long assignment. There, I helped bridge cultural and market differences while partnering with brands eager to make waves on both sides of the Atlantic.

I went on to lead a team representing both niche tech startups and enterprise companies such as Morpheus Space, Fetch Rewards, SHINE Technologies and PayZen. I later joined a boutique agency where I partnered with clients such as Chess.com, Sweetgreen, Wonder (Marc Lore’s superapp for mealtime), and Amex Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of American Express.

After over a decade leading communications strategy for global brands, I took time to reset, explore new creative directions, and refine my approach to storytelling. Now, I’m taking on select freelance and consulting opportunities to help companies strengthen their visibility, brand messaging, internal communications and executive commentary, by translating data into compelling narratives and advising how they can be pitched more effectively to drive impact and elevate the business.

My expertise lies in collaborating with executive leaders to build and amplify their thought leadership presence, translating strategic insights into compelling commentary. I offer a refreshed perspective on how brands can communicate authentically and build deeper engagement.
